The Barn Bash for 2027 will be held on January 29th from 7:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. at the Aquarius Float Barn 1517 31st.
The Barn Bash is Galveston’s biggest Mardi Gras party, and it’s happening the evening before the Seawall Parade! This event is open to the public (21 years or older) and features live entertainment, food, beverages, dancing, face painting, and throws. Admission for the event is only $30. Krewe members who purchase member only tickets in advance get a substantial discount.
What to Expect at the Barn Bash
The Barn Bash is held at the Aquarius Float Barn 1517 31st , a 20,000-square-foot warehouse where many of the Mardi Gras floats are stored. This gives you a unique opportunity to see the floats up close before the big parade.
In addition to the floats, the Barn Bash also features a live band, food, beer, and wine. There’s plenty of room to dance and party, and you’re sure to have a blast. Bring a chair if you want to sit down.
We will have several local food trucks offering an assortment of food for purchase.
Your admission price includes your choice of beer, wine, or soft drinks. NOTE: TABC rules only allow us to serve an individual 2 drinks at a time.
The highlight of the event starts at 9:00 p.m., when the Krewe members board their floats to throw beads to the crowd. The challenge is to see who can catch the most and fanciest beads.
Have a Great Time at the Barn Bash!
The Barn Bash is a great way to celebrate Mardi Gras in Galveston. With its live music, food, drinks, and dancing, it’s sure to be a night you won’t forget.
