The Famous Mystic Krewe of Aquarius Trolley Party 2025
The Krewe will hold its famous “Trolley Party” on Saturday, August 30. Tickets for Krewe members only will go on sale at the July 10 meeting. Tickets are $20/person (your tip to the drivers are included in the ticket price). We will once again parade the streets of Galveston in the “Dancing Queen”, “Dancing King”, “The Lemonade Bus” and fire truck all compliments of our good friend, Jay Carnes, of Carnes Funeral Home. You are allowed a small cooler. Our home base and stops (planning on making at least four stops) will be announced in a few weeks. Tickets will also be available at the August meeting and any unsold tickets will be available to the public which includes friends and relatives.
The Trolley Party is a summer event in Galveston that is usually held on Saturday evenings when there is a Galveston Art Walk scheduled. Transportation is the fun part of the event, as guests are transported in the pink tram, fire trucks, or whatever vehicle is available. There’s bead throwing with stops along the way and a party at the end.
The Trolley Party is a lot of fun. The vehicles are decorated for the occasion, and guests are encouraged to dress up and party. There is music, dancing, and beads galore. The party at the end is usually held at a popular bar or club on the Strand, Galveston’s historic waterfront district.

- Purchase your tickets in advance, as they sell out quickly.
- Arrive at the starting point early to get a good spot on the vehicle.
- Bring beads to throw to the crowd and other vehicles.
- Dress up and party!
