Pardi Gras
The Ball and Royal Pageant is a glamorous event held in Galveston, Texas, two weekends before the Seawall Parade. The evening features elegant attire, lively music, and a captivating Royal Pageant where the Royal Court showcases their exquisite costumes. The event culminates in a grand coronation ceremony, crowning the new monarchs.
Barn Bash
The Barn Bash is Galveston’s biggest Mardi Gras party, and it’s happening the evening before the Seawall Parade! Come out and see our newly decorated floats for the first time.
Trolley Party
The Trolley Party is a summer event in Galveston that is usually held on Saturday evenings when there is a Galveston Art Walk scheduled. Transportation is the fun part of the event, as guests are transported in the pink tram, fire trucks, or whatever vehicle is available. There’s bead throwing with stops along the way and a party at the end.
Senior Citizens Day at the Float Barn
In the week leading up to the Seawall Parade, the Krewe hosts a special day for senior citizens from local nursing homes at our Float Barn. The event features a catered meal, costumed krewe members, dancing, and bead throwing.
Epiphany Party
The Krewe celebrates Epiphany with a Sunday party honoring its Royal Court. This event features a buffet dinner and a cash bar, and is open to the public.
Children’s’ Hospital Visit
Mardi Gras is a time of fun for adult and children alike. However, some children cannot participate in the festivities because of health issues. Since these kids can’t go to Mardi Gras, the Krewe of Aquarius brings a little bit of Mardi Gras to them.
