Party with Aquarius
There are many ways you can join in the Mardi Gras Spirit with the Krewe of Aquarius. The first way is to become a member. If you are not ready to become a member you can join us for events or even ride on one of our floats during a parade.
Membership
Membership is by invitation only, and members can propose an invitation by obtaining an application from the Krewe Membership Committee. If you do not know any of our Krewe Members, come by one of Krewe Meetings and meet some.
Events
The Krewe sponsors several events that are open to the public. This includes the Ball and Royal Pageant, Barn Bash, and Trolley Run. For more information, visit our events page.
Ride in the Seawall Parade
Are you ready to ride Galveston’s longest parade route on one of our awesomely decorated floats? Throw beads and trinkets to the waiting public for close to two and a half hours and experience the parade from a whole new perspective. Many people find that riding on a float is more fun than being in the crowd.
Ride on Fat Tuesday
For those who prefer a shorter parade route, our Fat Tuesday Parade travels through downtown Galveston on Mardi Gras Day, after dark.
Though it takes less than an hour to complete, the parade is a favorite of Krewe members because of the local crowd.
Floats, Krewes, and Car Clubs
Do you or your Krewe have a float that you would like to enter in our parade? Car group who wants to show off their decorated vehicles? We would be glad to have you.
High School Bands
A Mardi Gras parade just would not be the same without the sounds of the marching bands. The Mystic Krewe of Aquarius is proud to show case high school bands from throughout southeast Texas in our parades.
We invite bands interested in performing in either parade to contact us.
